Queensland Birman Cat Fanciers ClubOur club has been established in Queensland now for over eight years. We have a show each year that we get great support from with in the Birman breeders we do not have many of us here in Queensland and we are spread over quite a distance. This year we had 75 Birman exhibits out of an overall entry of 260. Our shows here are not as large as the shows overseas, but by our standards this is a good entry. Our club publishes a quarterly newsletter and we have two kitten registers in place for people that are looking to buy kittens. We have most of the colours being breed here that are available. Chocolates and Lilacs are making inroads into the colours available. With the reds creams and torties only being breed by a couple of converts myself being one. I just don't think you can compare the temperament, not that the rest are not just as special. Our club executive are as follows:
