The Birman Cat Club of CanberraThe Birman Cat Club of Canberra has been active in the ACT for the past 15 years. Its aims being to promote the Birman cat and ensure its viability for the future. The Club can help cat owners, particularly Birman owners, with advice on general care, feeding, grooming, showing and breeding. Boarding of Birman cats can also be arranged through the Club. The Club produces a quarterly newsletter called the 'Glove and Gauntlet', which includes articles written by Club members on their experiences, advice from technical publications, news of upcoming shows and social events, and information from other Australian and Overseas Birman Cat Clubs. Club activities include meetings on a regular basis, running of specialist Birman and all breed shows, social functions and fundraising activities.
